Located in Watertown, this deck girder bridge crosses Church Street (former Wisconsin Highway 26), just west of the Rock River Bridge.
Originally built in 1961, the bridge features three deck girder spans, set onto concrete substructures. The girders are arranged in four girder patterns. This style bridge was standard for post-World War II underpasses.
Girder spans like this are commonly used as underpasses, due to the ease of construction and little required maintenance.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with no significant deterioration.
The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common design.
